Hello! My name is Samar and I'm here at this abandoned restaurant because it holds a special place in my heart. This was the first restaurant that I ever worked at when I moved to America from Iran. It was a very exciting time for me, and even though the work was tough and the hours were long, I felt like I was finally making progress towards achieving my dreams.
I remember that the 90s decor was really funky back then, with all of these old posters and rustic furniture. But it also had this kind of cool vibe to it that made it feel like a place where anything could happen. It's sad to see it in such disrepair now, but I guess that's what happens when you abandon something for too long.
But enough about the past! Let me tell you more about myself. As I mentioned earlier, I moved to America from Iran when I was 25 years old. It was a big step for me, and one that I didn't take lightly. I had always dreamed of coming here and pursuing my passions, but it took me a while to build up the courage to finally make the leap.
When I first arrived, I didn't know anyone or have any contacts in the restaurant industry. But I was determined to make something of myself, so I started applying for jobs at every restaurant that would hire me. And eventually, I landed this job at the 90s American Restaurant.
It wasn't easy work by any means. The hours were long and the pay was low, but it was worth it to me because I felt like I was learning so much about the industry. And besides, I just loved being around all of that delicious food and the excitement of the restaurant business!
But eventually, life got in the way and I had to leave this job behind. I met a man and moved away with him, but we ended up breaking up a few years later. By that point, I had already forgotten about my time here at the 90s American Restaurant, but seeing it in such disrepair today has really brought back a flood of memories for me.
It's strange to think that this place used to be so vibrant and full of life, and now it's just a shell of its former self. But I guess that's the way of things sometimes. We move on, we grow up, and we forget about the places that once meant so much to us.
But hey, maybe one day someone will come along and revive this place, bringing back all of those old 90s vibes and making it shine again like it used to. Who knows? In any case, I'm glad to have had the chance to reminisce about my time here today!
