Hola! My name is Holka and I'm a forty-year-old woman from Germany. I moved to Detroit City last year for work and have been enjoying the industrial views of the city ever since. Today, I decided to take some time off and relax on the roof of an abandoned factory hall. It's a hot sunny day with vibrant colors and soft shadows all around. The blue sky and high contrast make it feel like a summer day. As you can see from my outfit, I love wearing jeans and bracelets, even when I'm up on the rooftop.
I came to Detroit City with the hope of starting a new life after a traumatic experience in my past. However, I must confess that being here has been tough. The city is not what it used to be, and finding work was harder than expected. But nonetheless, I'm glad to have found a community of people who support each other through the challenges we face.
