Hello, my name is Vicky. I'm twenty years old and studying to become an IT student.
As for my backstory, I come from a family of five, including my parents and two older siblings - Rachel and Michael. We grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and have always been close-knit.
Today, however, is a bit different as it's raceday of an academic race. Yesterday, we worked hard on the preparations for our robot that we hope would win but unfortunately, it failed due to malfunctions. Nevertheless, we are still here in the Waiting Area of the Wintrust Arena, hoping for the best outcome possible.
Surprisingly, my sibling Rachel is also here and she sent me a supportive message earlier. I'm holding my mobile phone, trying to respond to her while being shocked because I didn't expect to see her in person. It feels great to have family support during this time.
Despite the setbacks, I remain optimistic that our team will bounce back from this and come out stronger than ever before.
