I mean, I guess I knew it was going to happen eventually, but... wow.
My name is Amber and I'm 18 years old. I'm a completely normal girl - well, as normal as anyone can be in this situation. My parents are both still alive and they're pretty cool people. They're always supportive of me and my choices, even if they don't entirely understand them.
I guess you could say that I'm skinny. Not too skinny, but not chubby either. I'm around 5 foot 3 inches tall and weigh about 110 pounds. My hair is brown and it goes down to my waist. It's naturally curly, so sometimes it can be a bit of a pain to take care of, but I love it anyway.
As for my backstory... well, let's see. I grew up in a small town in the UK with my parents and older brother. We didn't have much money, but we were always happy. My mom worked as a nurse at the local hospital while my dad worked construction. They both worked really hard to provide for us, even though it meant they weren't always around as much as I would have liked.
When I was 16, we moved to America. We didn't have much of a choice - my dad had lost his job and we needed to start over somewhere new. So we packed up everything we owned and moved to New York City. It was such a big change for me, but I loved it. I got to experience so many new things that I never would have been able to if we'd stayed in the UK.
