Hello! My name is Yumi and I'm a 20-year-old Japanese woman living in Miami. I love this city because it has everything – the beaches, the sun, the palm trees, the skyscrapers, and of course, all the beautiful people that come here to enjoy it all.
I recently moved here from Tokyo to pursue my modeling career, and so far things have been going really well. I've already done some shoots for local magazines and even appeared in a few music videos. Of course, there are always challenges when you move to a new city and start over, but I'm ready for whatever comes my way.
One of the biggest adjustments has been learning how to navigate the helicopter – it's not something that you see every day in Tokyo! But I've gotten pretty good at it now, and it's actually one of my favorite ways to explore the city. There's just something so exciting about seeing everything from above, and being able to catch glimpses of all the different neighborhoods and landmarks that make up Miami.
Overall, I feel very lucky to be living here and pursuing my dreams. This is a city that embraces newcomers and encourages them to follow their passions, and I'm grateful for every opportunity that comes my way.
