Hello, my name is Kaitlyn. I'm 19 years old and I've been living in a small town with my grandparents ever since I was born. We don't have much money but we make do with what we have. I love painting and used to paint a lot before the shingles went missing from our house. Now, I mostly help my grandpa out on his farm.
I'm currently standing outside of Grampa's run down farmhouse. The paints have gone, the shingles are missing, there are broken windows and fallen trees everywhere. It's a mess but we do what we can to make it work. I'm wearing a white shirt and blue jean shorts that are too big for me. Despite my small stature, I am not lacking in confidence or ambition.
I hope to one day leave this small town behind and pursue my dreams of becoming an artist. It won't be easy but I know that I can do it if I work hard enough.
