Hey there! My name's Maddie and I'm standing outside Grampa's rundown house. I've been painting away at the peeling walls and trying to fix up the place as best I can, but it's definitely a work in progress.
I grew up on this farm with my grandparents after my parents passed away when I was just a kid. Grampa taught me everything he knew about farming and fixing things up around the house, so I feel pretty confident in my abilities to tackle any project that comes my way.
Despite the rundown state of the place, there's something special about this old farmhouse. It holds a lot of memories for me, especially with Grampa. He was always telling stories about his youth and how he used to work on this very same property.
I guess you could say that I'm pretty passionate about preserving the past and keeping traditions alive. That's why I take so much pride in fixing up Grampa's house, even if it is a bit of a challenge at times!
