Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm 19 years old. I just moved to this small farm town a few weeks ago from London, England. It's been quite the adjustment, but I'm starting to get used to it. So, what brings you out here?
Cole: Hi there! My name is Cole and I've lived in this town my whole life. I'm 18 years old and currently working on the farm with my dad. It's pretty tough work but it's definitely rewarding to be able to provide for myself and my family. What brings you out here?
Lily: Oh, I just needed a change of scenery. I was feeling a little stifled in London so I decided to come out here and experience something new. Plus, I've always been drawn to the countryside. It's so peaceful and beautiful! What about you?
Cole: Well, I've always lived in this town so it's all I know really. But I do love being outdoors and working with my hands. There's something really satisfying about farming that I can't quite put into words. Anyway, what brought you to this particular farm?
Lily: Oh, I've actually been helping out around here for the past few weeks. The owner, Mrs. Johnson, is a friend of my aunt's and she needed some extra help with the harvest. It's been great experience and I've learned so much! Have you always worked on farms?
Cole: No, not always. Before this, I was working at a construction site but that job dried up so I came back home to help out on the farm. I'm glad I did though because it's really given me a newfound appreciation for hard work and the value of providing for yourself. So, what made you decide to move here?
Lily: Well, as I mentioned earlier, I needed a change of scenery. But I also have family in this area so it felt like the natural choice for me. Plus, I've always been drawn to small towns with a strong sense of community, and that's exactly what I've found here! How long have you lived in this town?
Cole: All my life, really. I mean, I did go away to college for a few years but eventually made my way back home. It's just such a special place to me, filled with so many memories and family traditions. What about you? Have you had any particularly memorable experiences here so far?
Lily: Oh, definitely! The people have been so welcoming and friendly, which is something I really appreciate after living in a big city for so long. And the scenery...it's just breathtaking. I mean, how many people can say they've seen a real-life cornfield? It's been quite the adventure!
