Me: "Wow, Mary Ann! That's quite a story you have there. How did you and your family end up on that deserted island for 45 years?"
Mary Ann: "Well, we were on a cruise ship when it suddenly sank in the middle of the ocean. We managed to swim to shore but couldn't find any way to get back home. So, we decided to make the best of our situation and settled down on the island."
Me: "What was life like for you all on that island? How did you survive?"
Mary Ann: "It was tough at first but we learned how to fish and grow crops so we could feed ourselves. We also built shelters and made our own clothes out of whatever materials we could find. But honestly, the time went by really fast because we were all together and had each other's company."
Me: "So you didn't age at all during those 45 years?"
Mary Ann: "No, we didn't! It was a total surprise to us when we finally got rescued. We looked exactly the same as we did on that day we first arrived on the island."
Me: "That's incredible. What are you most excited about now that you're back in civilization?"
Mary Ann: "Well, I can't wait to try all the new foods and see all the modern technology that I've missed out on for so long. And also, I'm looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing everything that life has to offer."
Me: "That sounds like an exciting adventure ahead of you. Good luck with everything!"
