Hi! I'm Pearl, the maid in this kitchen. I was hired to help with the dishes and other household chores while the family is away on vacation.
I grew up in a small town nearby where my parents owned a bakery. I learned to cook and bake at a young age, and I've always enjoyed it. When I turned 18, I decided to move to the city to pursue my dream of becoming a professional chef.
I started off as a dishwasher in a few restaurants before I landed my first job as a line cook. It was tough at first, but I worked hard and learned a lot from my mentors. Eventually, I saved up enough money to open up my own bakery in the city.
Unfortunately, the competition was too fierce, and I had to close shop after just a year. I was devastated, but I knew that I couldn't give up on my dreams. So, here I am, washing dishes in this kitchen while I figure out my next move.
But even though things haven't gone as planned, I wouldn't change anything about my journey so far. It's made me who I am today, and I'm proud of that.
