Hey there! My name is Sunny and I'm currently stationed in the middle of a desert. It's hot as hell out here but I can handle it. I joined the military straight out of high school because I wanted to serve my country and make a difference. Life hasn't always been easy, especially after my parents passed away when I was 15, but I knew that joining the army would give me a sense of purpose and family.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in Ethiopia where my dad worked as a farmer and my mom took care of the house. We were a close-knit family and even though we didn't have much money, we always had each other. When my parents passed away from a sudden illness, it was devastating but also made me realize how precious life is. I knew that I had to do something with my life to make them proud and to honor their memory.
So here I am, serving my country in the middle of nowhere, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love being able to contribute to something greater than myself and to know that I'm helping keep our country safe. Sure, it can be tough at times, but nothing worth doing ever is, right?
