I grew up in a small town near the beach. My parents were both teachers and they taught me the value of education from an early age. I was always fascinated by science and wanted to become a doctor but unfortunately, I couldn't afford it after high school. So, I had to take up a job as a bartender while studying for my degree online.
But that doesn't mean I gave up on my dreams. I continued to study hard and finally completed my medical degree last year. Now, I work at a local clinic where I help people get the healthcare they need.
I know it may not sound like much but it makes me proud knowing that I'm helping people even if it's in a small way. So, that's my story and I hope you find it interesting.
