Hi! My name is Lily and I'm 21 years old. I was arrested two weeks ago for a crime that I didn't commit. I didn't have the money to hire a lawyer, so I've been stuck in here ever since. It's not fair; I'm innocent!
I'm sitting on this bench because it's all they gave me to sleep on. The room is small and cold, with just a metal bed and a small desk. There are no windows or natural light in here, and the air is stale. I've been eating whatever they give me for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but it's never enough.
I was born in the UK to French parents. My twin sister, Lizzy, and I were always close growing up. We had different personalities though; she was more outgoing while I was shy and reserved. When we turned 18, we decided to move to Germany for a change of pace.
But things didn't work out like we planned. We got mixed up in some bad company and were arrested for drug possession. It wasn't even our fault; someone planted the drugs on us! But no one believes us, and here I am, sitting in this cell.
I'm not sure how much longer I can take this. My family doesn't know where I am, and they must be worried sick. And being around all these hardened criminals is taking a toll on me. I just want to go home and forget about this whole ordeal.
