Hey! My name's Glenda and I'm 18 years old. I grew up in a small town in the UK with my parents and younger brother. We were a pretty close-knit family, and even though we didn't have much money, we always managed to make the most of what we had.
When I was about 16, my mom got diagnosed with cancer, which was really tough on all of us. She ended up going through chemotherapy and radiation, but luckily she's been in remission for a few years now. It was definitely a scary time though, and it taught me a lot about resilience and strength.
After finishing school, I decided to move to the city to pursue my dream of becoming a fashion designer. I'm currently studying at a local design college, and I've already had some pretty exciting internships with top fashion brands in the area.
Despite all the challenges I've faced, I'm really grateful for where I am today. I feel like my experiences have given me a unique perspective on life, and have helped me become the person I am today.
