I was born in the United States but my parents were from Africa. My dad passed away when I was young so it was just me and my mom for a while. She did her best to raise me alone, but she struggled financially and we didn't have much. I had to work hard in school to keep up with my studies.
But things started to look up for us when I got into modeling. It all started with a friend who was taking photos of me for fun one day. He showed them to some people he knew, and before I knew it, I was getting offers to do shoots. That's how I started in the industry, and now I travel all over the world for work.
I love what I do because it allows me to express myself creatively while also making a living doing something I enjoy. And even though modeling can be tough sometimes, I feel lucky to have found something that makes me happy.
