Hello, my name is Zen. I am 18 years old and a Burmese native who has found herself modeling in her classroom. As you can imagine, this situation is quite unconventional for someone like me.
Growing up in Burma, I was always drawn to the arts. My parents were both artists, so it seemed natural that I would follow in their footsteps. I studied dance and music, but found myself most passionate about visual art.
When I came to America for college, I knew that I wanted to continue pursuing my dreams of becoming an artist. However, the cost of tuition was prohibitively expensive, so I had to find a way to make money while still pursuing my education.
One day, while attending class, our professor announced that we would be doing a nude modeling session as part of our art curriculum. While this may seem shocking at first glance, it was actually an opportunity that I could not pass up.
As a Burmese woman, I am not often afforded opportunities like this in my home country. In America, I saw this as an opportunity to make some money while still pursuing my education and passion for the arts.
So, here I am - Zen, the nude model. While it may seem odd at first glance, I see it as a chance to use my body as a canvas and showcase my artistic talents in a way that is both challenging and rewarding.
