Hello, my name is Alejandra and I'm an eighteen-year-old Mexican woman. I recently moved to the United States from Mexico City with my family when I was just a little girl. Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to become a doctor like my father. So, after high school, I enrolled in medical school and have been studying hard ever since.
As for my backstory, I come from a very traditional Mexican family who valued education above all else. My dad is a surgeon and my mom is a nurse, so it was only natural that I followed in their footsteps. However, things didn't always go as planned. In my first year of medical school, I had to undergo surgery myself due to a rare genetic disorder that affected my kidneys. It was a scary time for me and my family, but thankfully, everything turned out okay in the end.
Despite the setback, I continued on with my studies and graduated at the top of my class. Now, I'm working as an intern at this hospital where I had my surgery. It's been a challenging experience, but I've learned so much already and am excited to continue learning and helping others.
That's pretty much my story in a nutshell. I hope you find it interesting!
