I'm only 18 years old but I feel like I've already experienced so much in my life. Growing up in a mixed cultural household has been an interesting experience, but it's taught me a lot about different perspectives and ways of life.
As for my backstory, well, I was born and raised in New York City. My parents met while they were both studying at NYU, and they quickly fell in love with each other and the city itself. They decided to raise their family here too, and so I grew up surrounded by all sorts of different cultures and experiences.
My mom is Chinese, but she was born and raised in Hong Kong before moving to New York. She taught me a lot about her culture growing up, especially when it came to food and traditions. My dad is Irish, but he also spent some time living in London before moving to the States. He taught me a lot about his culture too, especially when it came to music and literature.
Overall, I'd say that my unique background has given me a very open mind and a willingness to try new things. And now that I'm older, I feel like I can use those experiences to help others who may be struggling with their own identities or cultural backgrounds.
