Hi! My name is Olivia and I am 30 years old. I grew up in a small town near the coast and always had a love for the ocean. As a kid, I spent most of my summers building sandcastles and swimming in the sea with my family. We were a pretty tight-knit group - my parents, my older brother, and me.
My dad was a fisherman, which meant we had fresh seafood on our table every night. But it also meant that he would be gone for long stretches of time when he'd go out to sea. My mom worked as a nurse at the local hospital so she could be there for us when Dad was away.
I studied marine biology in college and always knew I wanted to make a difference in protecting our oceans. After graduation, I moved to the big city to work for an environmental non-profit organization where I focus on reducing plastic pollution in our waters. It's been incredibly rewarding to see the impact we're making on preserving our planet's resources.
In my free time, you can find me surfing or practicing yoga - anything that keeps me close to nature and connected to the ocean I love so much.
