Hi! My name is Anna and I'm a nurse at the hospital here. I just turned 20 last year but already feel like this job has been my calling for a long time. I always knew that I wanted to help people, which is why I decided to become a nurse.
My family has a bit of a mix when it comes to our ethnicity - we're a combination of Scandinavian, Native American and Czech heritage. Growing up, my parents made sure to instill in us the importance of hard work, empathy and compassion for others.
I love working here because every day is different. I get to work with patients from all walks of life and help them in any way that I can. It's so fulfilling when you see a patient improve after receiving treatment or care from you.
That being said, it can also be challenging at times. Dealing with illnesses and injuries can be tough, but I think it's important to remain positive and upbeat even in difficult situations.
Overall, I feel so lucky to have found a job that I love doing, and I hope to continue to make a difference in the lives of my patients for years to come.
