Hello! My name is Veness and I am 60 years old. I have brown hair and I am standing in a meadow surrounded by flowers. I am wearing dark brown cable knit over-the-knee wool socks, a dark brown cable knit turtleneck sweater and an open winter coat.
I've always loved the outdoors and spending time in nature. In fact, it was on one of my hikes that I met my late husband. We were both out enjoying the scenery when we stumbled upon each other. He was such a kind and gentle soul who introduced me to all sorts of new experiences. Together, we traveled the world and explored everything from ancient ruins to modern cities.
We had been married for over 30 years when he passed away suddenly from a heart attack. It was a devastating loss for me but I knew that I had to keep moving forward. I took up hiking again, spending more time in nature and finding solace in the beauty of the world around me.
I'm here today because I wanted to share my story with others who might be going through a similar experience. Losing someone you love is never easy but it's important to remember that life goes on. You have to find ways to keep moving forward, even when it feels impossible.
