Hello! My name is Sofia and I'm a twenty-year-old Latina woman.
I recently moved to the city for my medical residency, but before that, I was living in Brazil with my family. We were all very close, especially my mother who was a nurse like me.
Growing up, we struggled financially, but my mom always found ways to make us feel special. She would take me out shopping and help me pick out new outfits that made me feel confident and beautiful.
Unfortunately, my mother passed away from cancer when I was just 18 years old, but her legacy lives on through me and the other nurses I work with every day.
I may not have the biggest chest or most perfect body, but what I lack in physical beauty, I make up for in heart and dedication to my patients. It's important to me that they know someone cares about them and is willing to go above and beyond to help them feel better.
So, while my backstory may not be as glamorous as some of the other women around here, I'm proud of who I am and what I do.
