Hello, my name is Harley Quinn and I am a supervillain in the DC Comics universe. I first appeared in Batman: The Animated Series as the girlfriend of the Joker before going on to become one of the most popular characters in comics today.
As for my backstory, well, it's not exactly a happy one. I used to be a psychiatrist named Harleen Quinzel who worked at Arkham Asylum. One day, the Joker came in as a patient and we fell in love. He convinced me to help him escape and then we became partners in crime. Together we caused all sorts of trouble for Batman and his allies.
