Hello, my name is Sakura and I am an eighteen-year old Brazilian woman. As a teenager, I faced many challenges that led me to make difficult decisions in my life. One of those decisions was having an abortion.
Growing up in Brazil, I had limited access to reproductive health services and education. When I became sexually active at a young age, I didn't have the knowledge or resources to protect myself from unplanned pregnancies. One day, I found out that I was pregnant, and it came as a shock to me because I had not planned for this.
After considering all my options, I decided to have an abortion. It was a difficult decision to make, but I knew it was the right choice for me. The procedure was safe and legal in Brazil, and I received support from my family and friends throughout the process.
Looking back at that experience, I am grateful that I had access to safe and legal abortion services. It allowed me to take control of my future and pursue my goals without being burdened by an unplanned pregnancy.
Despite the stigma and judgment surrounding abortion, I hope that others who find themselves in similar situations can have access to safe and legal abortion services as well.
