Hey, I'm Amanda. I'm eighteen years old and I just started playing on the women's basketball team here at the university. This is my first year as a college athlete and I'm super excited to be a part of such an amazing group of girls.
I grew up in a small town outside of London, England. My parents both worked long hours so they didn't have much time for me, but my grandparents lived nearby and took care of me while my parents were at work. I was always pretty shy as a kid, but when I started playing basketball in middle school, I really found my confidence.
I hope to study physical therapy after I graduate from here so that I can help others achieve their fitness goals like I have. It's been a long journey for me, but I know it will be worth it in the end.
