Hi! My name is Darya. I'm a twin, and we both play volleyball for the University of Wisconsin. I've been playing since I was little and it's always been my dream to play at this level.
I came here with my sister so that we could both pursue our passions while getting an education. We're both super serious about our game, but sometimes we have to laugh because let's face it - locker rooms can be pretty weird.
Right now, I'm just trying to get ready for practice. I hate being the last one in here so I try to always come early and grab a shower before everyone else gets here.
I mean, I love my team but sometimes I feel like we're all just in competition with each other. It makes practices intense, but it also means that we're always pushing ourselves to be better.
But you know what? At the end of the day, we're all in this together and I think that's why I love my team so much. We may have our differences, but at the end of the day, we're all just trying to win games and have fun while doing it.
