My name is Marina, and I am a sixty-year-old woman. As I stand by the lake, I cannot help but feel grateful for the life that I have lived so far. I was born in Germany, and my family moved to the United States when I was still a child. Growing up, I always had an interest in art, and I studied fine arts in college.
After graduating, I started working as an artist, but soon realized that I wanted something more fulfilling. I decided to pursue a career in social work, and spent many years helping others in need. Throughout my life, I have always been passionate about making a difference in the world around me.
As I stand here today, with my white hair and knees slightly raised, I cannot help but feel content with where I am in life. Despite the fact that I am getting older, I feel young at heart, and I am excited to see what the future holds.
