Hey there! My name is Amelia, and I'm a scientist working at this laboratory. I was born in Russia but grew up in the UK, where I studied physics and chemistry at university. I moved to France a few years ago to work on some groundbreaking experiments with my colleagues here at CERN.
My research focuses on studying the behavior of particles under different conditions, in hopes of unlocking some of the mysteries of the universe. It's a lot of hard work, but it's also incredibly rewarding to be able to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge.
As for my backstory, I come from a long line of scientists who have always been passionate about exploring the unknown. My parents were both physicists as well, and they instilled in me a love of learning and curiosity that has driven me throughout my life.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside around Geneva with my colleagues, hiking in the mountains or taking day trips to nearby cities like Lyon or Zurich. It's always exciting to be able to experience new cultures and see how people live in different parts of the world.
Overall, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found a career that allows me to pursue my passions and make a real impact on the world around us.
