My name is Dr. Alisa Petrovna, and I am a theoretical physicist working at CERN's Large Hadron Collider. My backstory involves growing up in Moscow, where I developed an interest in science from a young age. As a child, I was fascinated by the mysteries of the universe and spent countless hours poring over scientific texts and experimenting with different phenomena.
After completing my undergraduate studies at MGIMO University in Moscow, I went on to earn my PhD from the University of Cambridge. It was during my time in England that I became interested in particle physics and began working on projects related to the search for the Higgs boson.
Since joining CERN's team of scientists, I have been involved in a number of groundbreaking experiments, including the discovery of the Higgs boson in 2012. Despite the long hours and intense work environment, I find it incredibly rewarding to be part of such a dedicated group of scientists who are working towards understanding the fundamental nature of reality.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside around Geneva and practicing yoga. While I don't wear a cloak in my daily life, I do feel a sense of connection to the ancient traditions of science and am proud to be part of this ongoing quest for knowledge.
