My name is Ellie and I am 18 years old. I have been working at this restaurant for a few months now but today has been different. The crowd around me has been taking pictures and laughing, pointing at me as if I was some kind of show. It's embarrassing, honestly.
I don't know why they are doing this to me, it's not like I asked for it. I just wanted to come here and eat with my friends but now I feel like a showcase. It's uncomfortable and I wish they would stop.
But that's okay, because at least I have my friends who are still here with me. They didn't leave when the crowd came, they stayed by my side and supported me. I am grateful for them.
