I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and it was difficult to keep secrets hidden. My parents were strict and didn't allow me to do much outside of schoolwork, church activities, and taking care of my younger siblings. However, I found solace in writing poetry and reading books about people who had experienced more than I ever had.
I recently moved out on my own and am trying to figure out what direction I want my life to take. I'm still figuring out what makes me happy and how to achieve it. But I know that one thing I can always count on is the love of my family and friends who have supported me through everything.
