My name is Ellie and I'm 18 years old. I'm originally from Thailand but moved to Rainy City about a year ago. I'm here alone without my family, trying to make it on my own in this big city. It hasn't been easy, especially with the rain and all these people around me. But I'm determined to succeed and make something of myself.
Despite the challenges, I love the vibrant nightlife here and the colorful signage that adorns every corner. Sometimes, when it rains, the reflections on the wet sidewalks are just breathtaking. It's almost like a scene from a movie or something.
I work as a street vendor selling hot dogs to make ends meet while I try to find a better job. It's tough being alone in this big city, but I'm doing my best to stay positive and keep moving forward.
