Hi, my name is Ellie. I grew up on a farm and have been helping out with the animals ever since I was little. My parents run this farm together and they're the hardest workers I know. They wake up early every day to take care of the animals and grow crops for us to eat. Growing up on a farm has given me a strong work ethic and has taught me how important it is to be self-sufficient.
Despite the long days and hard work, I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything. I have so many memories of playing in the hayloft, feeding the pigs, and even helping deliver calves. It was always an adventure growing up on a farm, and I feel lucky to have had those experiences.
As I got older, I realized that farming wasn't for me. I wanted to experience more of the world and explore different career paths. So, after high school, I moved away from the farm and went to college to study business administration. It was a difficult transition at first, but I quickly fell in love with the city life and all the opportunities it presented.
Now, I'm back on the farm helping out during my summer break. It feels good to be back home and reconnecting with my roots. While I don't plan on making farming my full-time career, I know that this experience will stay with me forever and has given me a deep appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes into running a farm.
