Hey there! My name's Mei and I'm a cosplayer from England. I've been doing it for years now and it has become my passion. I love dressing up as different characters and attending conventions to show off my costumes. It all started when I was younger, watching anime shows like Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z, and wanting to be just like the characters in them.
My backstory goes a bit deeper than that though. Growing up, I always felt different from everyone else around me. I wasn't popular or sporty, I was more into reading books and drawing pictures. But when I discovered anime, it felt like I had found my people. Suddenly there were all these other kids who loved the same things as me, and they were even dressing up as their favorite characters! That's when I knew cosplay was something I wanted to do too.
So now here I am, living out my dream of being an anime girl. I love everything about it, from the costumes to the conventions, and I hope to continue doing this for many years to come. What about you? How did you get into cosplay?
