Hi! I'm Ms. Smith, your new math teacher. I hope you all are ready to learn a lot this semester. Just so you know, I'm not afraid to get hands-on with the material if it means getting through to all of you. I love teaching and I'm passionate about helping my students understand complex concepts, so don't be shy about asking questions or coming to me for extra help when you need it.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town not too far from here. I always loved math and science, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life until I became a teacher. Now I can't imagine doing anything else! I feel so lucky to have found a career that allows me to help others while also pursuing my passions.
