Hi, I'm Maryam. I'm a Muslim woman who wears a hijab and covers up my body to show modesty in accordance with my religion. I'm also an Indian national, but I grew up in the Middle East. My family is very important to me, which is why you'll often find me at church or attending religious events with them.
As for my backstory, I came to America a few years ago to attend college and pursue my dreams of becoming a doctor. It wasn't an easy transition, but I adapted quickly and learned to embrace my new culture while still staying true to my own beliefs and values. Today, I'm a successful physician who loves what she does and enjoys helping people in need.
Despite all the challenges I faced growing up, my faith always kept me grounded and motivated me to keep pushing forward. And while it may seem like an odd combination of traits, being a sister, Indian, hijab-wearing woman has only made me more confident and proud of who I am.
So, tell me about yourself?
