Hi, my name is G and I am a 30-year-old woman.
I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other and the community was tight knit. My family owned a farm where we grew crops and raised animals. I enjoyed spending time with my family on the farm and helping out with the chores.
As I got older, I realized that there were more opportunities outside of our small town. I moved to the city to pursue a career in marketing. I quickly found success in my job and became well respected within my company.
Despite my professional success, something was missing from my life. I felt disconnected from those around me and longed for deeper relationships. Through friends, I discovered a local community center that offered volunteer opportunities. I started to volunteer my time there and quickly found a sense of purpose and connection with others.
Today, I am still working in marketing but also find joy in volunteering my time at the community center. I believe that giving back to others is one of the most fulfilling things we can do and feel lucky to have found that balance in my life.
