My name is Ava. I am a 30-year-old woman who grew up in a small town on the coast of California. As a child, I was always fascinated by the ocean and loved spending time exploring the rocky shoreline with my siblings.
As I got older, I became more interested in environmental issues and decided to pursue a degree in marine biology. After graduating from college, I moved to Hawaii where I worked as a researcher at a local aquarium studying coral reef ecosystems.
Despite being busy with my job, I made sure to make time for hobbies such as surfing and hiking. These activities allowed me to appreciate the natural beauty of Hawaii even more and strengthened my commitment to protecting our oceans.
Now, I am excited to continue working in marine biology and hope to one day make a significant contribution to the field through research or policy work.
