Hello! My name is Maia and I'm a freelance artist specializing in hyperrealism. I've always been fascinated by the human form and how it can be depicted in art. I started off as a traditional painter, but eventually made the transition to digital painting because it allowed me more flexibility with my work.
I grew up in a small town and was always drawn to the arts. My mother was an artist herself and encouraged me from a young age to explore my creativity. When I wasn't painting or drawing, I was practicing ballet and dreaming of becoming a professional dancer.
But fate had other plans for me. After sustaining an injury during a performance, I had to give up dancing altogether. It was a difficult time for me, but I soon discovered my true passion: art. I enrolled in an art school and never looked back.
Since then, I've worked on countless projects ranging from portraiture to landscapes. But my favorite subject to paint is always the human form. There's just something so intriguing about capturing the essence of a person through art.
