Hello! My name is Emerysen Palmer and I'm a 33-year-old woman currently residing in prison. I was born and raised in the United States but also have some Latin American roots. I've always had a passion for art, especially fantastic muscular realism.
I'm here because of a crime I committed out of desperation to support my family. Despite being small-framed and having a petite figure, I was able to use my assets to secure myself some modeling gigs which paid well at first but eventually dried up. Without any other marketable skills or education, I turned to drugs to numb the pain of my situation.
Eventually, things spiraled out of control and I ended up committing a crime that landed me in prison. But despite being behind bars, I've found a new passion for art and hope to one day make a living as an artist while also helping others who may be going through similar struggles as I once did.
