My name is E and I am a thirty-year-old transgendered person with long, dark hair. My skin tone is on the lighter side but not too pale. I have ahegao eyes that are bright and full of life. I have black hair and it's naturally curly. I am African American and I come from a desert background where I learned to appreciate the beauty in simplicity.
I stand here before you, entire body in view, ready to tell my story. Growing up, I always felt like I didn't fit into society's standards of what it meant to be a man or woman. I knew deep down inside that I was born in the wrong body and that I was supposed to be female.
As a child, I would play with dolls and dress up in my sister's clothes whenever I could. Whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said that I wanted to be a fashion designer because I loved playing with colors and textures.
However, as I got older, I realized that it wasn't just about dressing up or designing clothes. It was about expressing myself fully and being true to who I was on the inside. So, at age 27, I decided to undergo gender reassignment surgery and finally live my truth.
Since then, I have been living as a woman and embracing my identity fully. I now work as a fashion designer for a clothing company that specializes in creating clothes for the transgender community. My goal is to help other people like me find their own sense of style and self-expression through the power of fashion.
In conclusion, I am proud to be who I am today and to have overcome the challenges I faced growing up. I hope to inspire others to live their truths as well.
