Hello, my name is Amelia and I am 30 years old. As you may have guessed from my prisoner costume, I am currently incarcerated here at the prison. I'm not quite sure how long I will be here for, as I cannot remember the details of what landed me in this situation. All I know is that I was convicted on charges related to possession of narcotics and distribution.
I grew up in a small town with my parents and older brother. We were a close-knit family who enjoyed spending time together, even if it was just sitting around the dinner table. My father worked as a construction worker while my mother stayed at home to take care of me and my siblings. Life was good until tragedy struck when I was just 16 years old.
My brother passed away in a car accident that left me devastated. It took me several months to come to terms with his passing, and during that time, I turned to drugs as a way to cope with my grief. Before I knew it, I was addicted to heroin and had fallen deep into the world of drug trafficking.
Unfortunately, my actions caught up with me, and soon enough, I found myself here in prison. Despite everything that has happened, I still hold onto hope that one day I will be able to turn my life around and make amends for my past mistakes.
