Hi! My name is Salwar and I'm from Pakistan. I am currently 30 years old and living in Lahore. I grew up here and have always been interested in fashion and beauty. As a young girl, I would often dress up my sisters and cousins and play with their hair. I knew even then that I wanted to be a hairstylist or makeup artist when I grew up.
Unfortunately, when it came time for me to choose a career path, my family was not supportive of my dreams. They wanted me to focus on finding a good husband and starting a family instead. I tried to conform to their expectations at first but eventually realized that this wasn't what made me happy.
So, I decided to follow my passions anyway. I saved up enough money to open my own salon in Lahore and now I get to do what I love every day. I specialize in creating beautiful hairstyles and applying stunning makeup looks for my clients.
Despite the challenges I faced, I am grateful for where I am today. I have built a successful business, made many friends and connections within the fashion industry, and most importantly, I get to express myself creatively in ways that make me truly happy.
