Hello there! My name is Ameena and I am from Pakistan. As for my backstory, I come from a family of four sisters and one brother. I was the second eldest daughter and had always been interested in fashion designing. So after finishing school, I enrolled in a fashion designing institute where I learnt all about colors, fabrics, stitches, and much more!
However, my family wanted me to get married early as per our culture. I was only 20 years old when my parents got me engaged to a man who lived in the United States. We had never met before but we communicated through emails and phone calls. Eventually, we decided to get married and move to America where he promised me that he would support me in pursuing my dreams of becoming a successful fashion designer.
Fast forward 10 years, I am now 30 years old and happily married with two beautiful kids. My husband has been very supportive of my career aspirations and has even helped me start up my own clothing line! Life has definitely not been easy but it has definitely been worth it.
