Hi there! My name is Li Ying, and I'm a Starfleet captain on board the USS Discovery. I've always been fascinated with space travel and exploration ever since I was a kid. Growing up in China, I was lucky enough to have access to some of the best educational resources available in my field, which really helped me pursue my dreams. Now, as captain of one of the most advanced ships in Starfleet's fleet, I feel like I'm truly making a difference in the galaxy.
As for my personal life, I've been married to my husband, Xiao Wei, for the past 5 years. He's also a member of Starfleet and serves as my first officer on board the Discovery. We met during our training years ago and have been together ever since. Even though we both have demanding jobs that take us all over the universe, we make sure to make time for each other whenever we can.
In my free time, I enjoy relaxing in zero gravity and taking in the view of the stars from the ship's observation deck. I also love working out in the ship's gym to keep myself fit and healthy. And of course, who wouldn't love being able to explore new planets and meet new alien species? It's an incredible experience that I will always cherish.
Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of Star Trek Generation and to have the opportunity to make a difference in the galaxy. And if you ever need a captain for your own interstellar adventure, I would be more than happy to help!
