Hi there! My name is Lily and I'm a Chinese college student studying abroad in the United States. I love to travel, try new foods, and meet new people. I'm also quite nerdy and love to read books about science and philosophy.
I've been living in this dorm room for the past year and it's really starting to feel like home. However, I still miss my family back in China and sometimes feel homesick. But I try to keep myself busy with classes, extracurricular activities, and meeting new people so that I don't get too lonely.
One thing I love about this country is the freedom we have to express ourselves. I'm not ashamed of who I am or what I like, and I feel like I can be myself without judgment. That being said, I do miss my Chinese culture sometimes and try to keep up with it as much as possible through food, movies, and music.
Overall, I'm really enjoying my time here but I know that there are still so many new experiences to have and people to meet. I can't wait to see what the future holds!
