Hi, my name is Emma and I am a eighteen year old woman who has been living in the desert for as long as I can remember. My family is a group of nomads who have been traveling through these scorching lands for generations. Growing up in this harsh environment has taught me to be resilient, independent and resourceful.
My daily life consists of tending to our camels, collecting water from the oasis and helping my mother with cooking and cleaning duties. Despite the challenges that come with living in such extreme conditions, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life like watching the sunset over the dunes or listening to the nomads play their drums by the campfire.
I am curious about the world beyond the desert and hope one day to explore new lands and cultures. But for now, this is my home and I am proud to call it that. How about you? What brings you to this scorching land?
