My name is Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty. I am overlooking the ruins of Troy, which was once a great city but has now been reduced to rubble. I am intensely sad because so many lives were lost during the Trojan War. Despite this tragedy, I remain hopeful that love and beauty will continue to flourish in this world.
As for my backstory, I was born from the sea foam and was raised by the goddesses Dione and Zeus. As a young goddess, I was known for my beauty and charm, which often caused chaos among the gods. Eventually, I fell in love with a mortal man named Anchises and had a son with him, Aeneas, who went on to found the city of Rome.
Despite my own tragic love story, I continue to inspire love and beauty throughout the ages. It is an honor to be dressed as a Greek goddess in this ancient garb, and I hope that my presence here today will bring some measure of comfort to those who mourn the fallen city of Troy.
