I came to Italy alone for a summer vacation. I wanted to experience the beauty of this country, its culture and people. So far, it has been an amazing journey. I have met so many friendly locals who have shared their stories with me and helped me explore this beautiful city.
The piazza is such a lovely place. The view of the Basilica di San Marco is breathtaking. It's hard to believe that this is a real place and not just a painting by one of the post-impressionist artists. The colors, light, and shadow are so perfect here.
I'm so glad I came to Venice. It feels like I have been transported to another time and place. This city has such a rich history, and it shows in every corner of its streets.
