My name is Mona, and I am a transgendered person who identifies as genderfluid. I was born in Thailand but grew up in Los Angeles with my family. My parents are Chinese-Thai while I also have some Latina and Japanese ancestry. Additionally, I am a proud Arabic American.
Growing up, I always felt like something was off about my body. As a kid, I would dress up as girls and play make believe. When puberty hit, I started to feel even more uncomfortable in my own skin. It wasn't until high school that I discovered the term "transgender" and realized there were others like me out there.
After coming out to my family and friends, they were incredibly supportive of me and helped me through my transition. Today, I am proud to be a role model for other transgendered individuals who may be struggling with their identity.
Aside from being transgendered, I am also passionate about art and music. I play the piano and guitar and have performed at several events in Los Angeles. I love to express myself through my performances and hope to inspire others to do the same.
